Enjoyed 20x Points Day

My chief saver and I were off to Shoppers early on Saturday morning to take part in the 20x Optimum Points. We managed to get everything on our list and in record time. Here's our haul:

This was our shopping list (love this worz.ca site, so helpful!)

All said and done, $53.03 OOP! 18,100 New Points.

The cashier THANKED me for being so patient. I laughed and thanked her for putting in all my coupons.... She said she was happy to help and so glad that I got a great deal! I will look for her next time.

Things I learnt:
(1) Buy a gift card for Shoppers before you purchase your items, $1 = 1 pt.
(2) SDM practices scanning code of practice (SCOP) - If an item scans in at a price higher than the shelf price, the customer gets it for free or $10 off if the item is more than $10. Had I known this, I would have scored the jam for free :)
(3) The SDM new cash registers make you enter the coupons linked with the product, so it would be kind to give them the coupons as the cashier rings in the products for ease of use.
